FOUNDATION NEWS
On Sunday October 16th the Make The Dash Count Seattle Youth board put their
philanthropy in "Motion" with the running of the 1st Annual Seattle Dash Race for
the Kids. Over 90 runners came out to Greenlake Park in Seattle to run in the 5K event.
Pierrick Le Roux won the race with an impressive time of 15:58. Mark Billett finished second
with a time of 16:09 and Kurt Billett took third with a time of 16:15. First place in the women's division
went to Morgan Ekemo with a time of 17:20. Second place went to Emilee Baetens with a time of 22:04
and Ashleu Thibodo took third with a time of 22:20.
For the inaguaral Seattle event the turnout was amazing and we are looking forward to next year. We couldn't
have done it without the support of our sponsors, many of whom came out and ran. Our next event will
be the running of the eight Dash Race for the Kids held in Prosser on the Saturday of Memorial Day weekend in May.
